Choosing the perfect wedding venue is the first exciting step in your wedding planning journey. With so many incredible options to consider—vineyards, charming historic estates, elegant hotels, and beautiful country clubs—it can feel a bit overwhelming at first!

The first step is to determine your top priorities for your wedding day. Is stunning scenery a must-have for you?

I highly suggest looking at pictures. Start with the venue’s website, but also check photographers’ blogs for a full view of real weddings there. Pinterest and Google business profiles are great for more photos, including those from couples and guests. Read reviews. Look on Google, WeddingWire, The Knot, and Facebook for feedback from past couples—more 5-star reviews are always a good sign!
